DR. JOANNE GAYNOR
Dr Joanne Gaynor, is originally from Bandon, and attended Colaiste na Toirbhirte Secondary school in Bandon. She graduated from Medicine in UCC in 2006, with first class honours degree. In 1999 she graduated from Physiotherapy with a second class hons degree. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners.
She has special interests in Womens Health including family planning and contraceptive management. She teaches undergraduate UCC medical students. Dr. Gaynor also has a special interest in occupational health and sports medicine. She has completed a certificate in the faculty of occupational medicine.
Joanne is married with 3 children and lives locally. She has a keen interest in running,in Bandon camogie and staying healthy.
DR. AILISH BOHANE
Dr Ailish Bohane graduated from UCC in 1997. She completed the Cork GP training scheme in 2001 gaining hospital experience in geriatric medicine, dermatology, psychiatry, paediatrics , obstetrics/gynaecology and emergency medicine. She has worked as a GP in Bandon since 2002.
She has an interest in Women's health particularly contraception and has extensive experience in Mirena and Copper Coil insertion and HRT/menopause advice.
She has an interest in Dementia /care of the elderly also. She is married with 5 children.
DR. AIDEEN COLEMAN
Dr Aideen Coleman graduated from UCC in 2005 with an honours degree in medicine. Dr Aideen Coleman graduated from UCC in 2005 with an honours degree in medicine.
Her special interests include antenatal care in the community, contraception and paediatrics. Dr. Coleman also has a special interest in travel medicine.
She is married and has 2 small boys. In her spare time she enjoys running and enjoys volunterering with the Junior Park Run in Ballincollig.
